Samsung’s ATIV Book 9 series has always concentrated on Ultrabook users with lightweight, powerful and pricey models like the ATIV Book 9 Plus.
However, recently, Samsung has just launched the two new advanced ATIV Notebooks: ATIV Book 9 Pro and ATIV Book 9 Spin. Both of these models are equipped with powerful configuration targeting users who are gamers or graphics pros.
These two new laptops own the latest 6th generation Intel Core i7 CPUs, an 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics. With this strong configuration, they can meet the need of most users.
However, ATIV Book 9 Pro is equipped with a 15.6 inches screen with the resolution of 4K while ATIV Book 9 Spin only owns a 13.3 inches screen with the QHD resolution. The cover of ATIV Book 9 Pro is made of aluminum even though the laptop weighs only 2kg.
Although ATIV Book 9 Spin has a more compact size, it is designed more specially with a 360-degree detachable screen. This is a quite unique design of Samsung. And with this design, you can change the laptop modes into tablet or Tent mode. The laptop weighs only 1,3kg, it is much suitable for the users who like a compact style or move regularly.

Some others features of these two laptops are that both of them are equipped with a 256GB SSD and USB Type port allowing to plug backward like the Lightning port on the OS devices. Moreover, its battery life is up to 6.5 hours of use, you can completely enjoy your favorite movies, songs or even games without worrying about out of battery status or continuously charging.
Besides, Samsung’s latest ATIV laptops are integrated with Samsung’s “outdoor mode”. This regime helps increase the screen’s brightness up to 700 nits, make it display clearly even under the sunlight. Of course this will make the battery down markedly.
Samsung said that these two senior laptops will hit store shelves this November. However, they don not mention the specific time. ATIV Book 9 Pro and ATIV Book 9 spin will has the price of $ 1.599 and $ 1.399 respectively. These prices are quite the same and considered as a reasonable price in comparison with $ 2.699 of Surface Book.
The launch of ATIV Book 9 Pro and ATIV Book 9 Spin will contribute to reinforce Samsung’s position in the present laptop market.
